Marco Cappelli has been a member of Adam Rudolph’s  New York GO: ORGANIC ORCHESTRA since 2005. He has also worked as Mr. Rudolph’s assistant in occasion of abroad performances with local music schools students as well as with professional ensembles (Ensemble Dissonanzen, Naples – Italy / Cerkno Keltika Festival, Slovenia/ Spazio Aereo, Venice – Italy / Conservatorio Vincenzo  Bellini, Palermo – Italy).

When in  2014 Rudolph assembled a new, all-guitar version of his large orchestra project and went into the recording studio, Marco Cappelli has been part of  a prestigious line up of New York based guitar wizards named GO: ORGANIC GUITAR ORCHESTRA. The band features: Rez Abbasi – Nels Cline – Liberty Ellman – David Gilmore – Miles Okazaki – Marvin Sewell (electric guitars and effects); Damon Banks (el. bass guitar); Marco Cappelli (acoustic guitar, effects); Jerome Harris (el. guitar, el. bass guitar, lap steel guitar); Joel Harrison (el. guitar, national steel guitar); Kenny Wessel (el. guitar, banjo).

On October 2, 2015, the Guitar Orchestra’s debut album, Turning Towards the Light, was released on Cuneiform Records. A US promotional tour took place in November 2015, touching Baltimore, Philadelphia and New York.
